About

The designer behind your website.

I'm Bright. I design and build websites for businesses in Ghana and abroad, from my desk in Accra. You work with me directly, from the first message to launch.

Before anyone hires a web designer, they have questions. Here are the ones I hear most, answered honestly.

01Who am I hiring?

Me, start to finish. I'm a product and web designer with five years of shipped work: six live websites, and apps on the App Store and Google Play.

The person on your discovery call is the person who designs your site, builds it, launches it and is still there after. Your project is never handed to a junior or an intern to learn on.

02Why you, and not an agency or another designer?

Agencies can be great, but you usually deal with a project manager, and your design passes through people you never meet. Cheaper freelancers are quick, but many reach for a template and are hard to find after launch.

With me, you get an experienced designer who also builds: one person, one fixed price, a site live in days or weeks rather than months, and someone who is still here when you need a change.

03Does my business really need a website?

If you want customers to find you, yes. More often than not, when someone hears about a business, the first thing they do is search for it online, and what they find decides whether they get in touch.

Instagram and WhatsApp are great for talking to customers, but you don't own them, and they can't explain your services, prices and story the way a site can. A website works for you while you sleep, and a good one makes you look as serious as you are.

You don't need a big site on day one. You need the right one for where your business is now, with room to grow.

04Will you understand my business?

Before I design anything, I learn your business. On a free call I ask about your business and your customers, whether you need a new site or a redesign, what is working today and what isn't, and what you need the site to do. Then I study your competitors and the sites your customers already trust.

The design and the words come from your answers, not from a template. I've done this for oil and gas, engineering, education, manufacturing, a creative agency and a fintech team, and designed apps for music, real estate and creative services.

05Can I trust you?

Six businesses already have. Their sites are live today, and you can visit every one of them.

  • Lakefields Petroleum
  • Tibule
  • Dodi International School
  • Turntabl
  • Mountrel
  • Vertex Ridge

“We needed to look ready for international partners from day one. The site does exactly that, and Bright made the whole process easy.”

06What do I actually get?

A site that's ready to work for your business, not just look nice.

  • A design built to turn visitors into enquiries
  • Responsive design across all devices
  • SEO set up, so customers can find you on Google
  • Easy editing, no developer needed
  • Analytics, so you can see who visits and what they click

07How long will it take?

It depends on the size of the site and how quickly we can go back and forth. A starter site is usually live in 3 to 5 days and a full website in 1 to 3 weeks. Sites with custom interactions, animations or illustrations take longer, and they're worth it.

Whatever the size, you'll have exact dates in the proposal before we start. I once built a 10 page site in 3 days, with quick feedback from the client. Not every project should move that fast, but it can.

08What will it cost, and will there be surprises?

One fixed price, agreed in the proposal before any work starts. You pay 50% to begin and the other 50% at launch. No hourly billing.

The only other costs are your domain and the platform's monthly plan that keeps the site online. I list them in the proposal, so nothing shows up later.

09What happens after launch?

You can change text, images and pages yourself, and I send you a short video showing how. For the first two weeks, small fixes and tweaks are on me.

After that, you can book changes when you need them or move to monthly care. Either way, I'm one message away.

Anime and films. Video games, mostly FIFA, Mortal Kombat and anime games. Music on, short trips to switch off, good food and time with my friends. And a fair amount of daydreaming, usually as a character in an anime I haven't written yet.

Any other questions?

Ask me directly. I usually reply the same day.
